Meet The Trading Experts: Lock-down Trading Crash Course with Brien Coram

As part of our one month lock-down trading crash course, we were joined by special guest Brien Coram who discussed how to trade long straddles during reporting season.

As part of our one month lock-down trading crash course, we were joined by special guest Brien Coram who discussed how to trade long straddles during reporting season.

During the session, Brien shared his approach to trading: what to consider when entering a trade, when to exit, and his perfect set up for the trade. He has been an active Options trader for eight years and now trades with Reach Markets. He prefers Options trading as it provides opportunities to trade all market conditions via a range of strategies using modest amounts of capital.

The lock-down crash course includes over 15 hours of educational content, a series of live presentations from a range of professional and private traders and access to paper trade in the live market.

Every week we will be joined by a special guest who will share their insights and approach to trading. Our guest next week will be Graham O’Brien from the ASX who will talk about how to trade in all market conditions. Click here if you would like to book a spot for that session.

These sessions present an exciting opportunity to hear from someone who has done the work and has an approach to trading that has proven successful. Hearing what they have to say, and getting to know their stories, is an interesting way for traders to learn and improve our skills. As we go through the good and the bad times, it’s great to be able to share our experiences with like minded people.

Trading options is not suitable for everyone. There is a risk that you can lose more than the value of a trade or its underlying assets. You should only trade if you are confident that you fully understand what you are doing.

Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

Presented on Tuesday the 7th of April at 7pm (AEST).
